A joyous concoction of all-time favorites from Broadway and Carnegie, including Sondheim, Bernstein, Copland, Rossini, Bizet, Gottschaulk, Verdi, Joe Green, and Irving Berlin, alongside the jazz masters of Ellington, Gershwin, and Fats Waller. Features vocalists Dianne Legro, Christine Clemmons McCune, Paul Spencer Adkins, and John Cimino with Jon Klibonoff, piano, Matt Ward, and Richard Albagli, percussion.

"A Little Nightmare Music"
Violinist Alexsey Igudesman and pianist Hyung-ki Joo are two classical musicians who have taken the world by storm with their unique and hilarious theatrical shows, which combine comedy with classical music and popular culture. I&J will present their unique show, A Little Nightmare Music, full of virtuosity, enchanting music, and zany outrageous humor. The concert is ideal for ages 8 to 88!

Founder and Steinway Artist Toby Blumenthal and Sarasota Orchestra principal cellist Abraham Feder join LMC’s President, Artistic Director and international violin soloist Elizabeth Pitcairn in Mozart’s Trio. Sarasota Orchestra principal harpist Cheryl Losey makes her LMC debut. Feder and Pitcairn are joined by Columbia University Doctoral recipient pianist Cynthia Elise Tobey in the monumental piano trio by Tchaikovsky.

Join us Sunday, July 27 at 4:30pm for an evening to benefit Luzerne Music Center's Scholarship Fund.
Kick off with a champagne toast followed by a special Gala Concert. Cocktail reception and silent auction will follow, with a gourmet dinner under the stars and live auction featuring a private island getaway rounding out what is sure to be a memorable evening!
The New York City-based Salomé Chamber Orchestra, renowned for their vibrant performances and refreshing approach to chamber music, will be joined by celebrated international viola soloist David Aaron Carpenter. The LMC Student Symphony Orchestra will perform a movement of Sibelius Symphony No. 2, under the direction of Maestro Charles Peltz of the Glens Falls Symphony Orchestra.

Luzerne Chamber Players Michael Emery, Elizabeth Beilman, and Daniel Grab, join LMC Founder and Steinway Artist Toby Blumenthal in the rarely heard piano quartet by Camille Saint-Saëns.

The season finale presents the LCMF debut of NY Philharmonic assistant concertmaster Michelle Kim, with Luzerne Chamber Players Elizabeth Beilman, Laura Eakman, Abraham Feder and Daniel Grab. Hungarian pianist Aniko Szokody joins LMC’s President, Artistic Director and international violin soloist Elizabeth Pitcairn in Schubert, and principal cellist of the Sarasota Orchestra Abraham Feder, collaborates with pianist Cynthia Elise Tobey, Curtis Institute and Columbia University Doctoral recipient.
