our program and consider becoming a part of the Luzerne
family this summer!
"Luzerne summer music camp is musically demanding. It challenges the
very talented. Yet there is a place for the young person
who still needs to discover the joy of music.
"We feel that
the joy of music comes not from competing with another
person but from experiencing the music itself and becoming
aware of the commitment it takes to learn and perform a
given work. Our joy is seeing each young musician develop
his or her abilities at their own level and not necessarily
in competition with their peers.

accepting student applications for summer of 2009.
Our first
auditions will be held at the Manhattan School of Music on January 24th,
with a student/faculty concert to follow at Steinway Hall, from 8 to 10
pm.
A Celebration of Bert Phillips' Life will
be Held: Summer, 2009 @ Lake Luzerne
