Refund Policy

Luzerne Music Center will not refund any portion of fees if a student is dismissed from camp due to infringement of camp rules or leaves for other behavioral or personal reasons.

Financial Aid

Luzerne Music Center is a non-profit organization, and relies on contributions and fund raising events to maintain a Scholarship Fund to aid talented students with financial need. All parents of students seeking financial assistance are required to document their needs by filling out the Financial Aid Form, supplied on request. Awards for financial assistance are based on financial need and musical ability. All students receiving aid are assigned a small job to assist in the operation and maintenance of the camp. Those who may be helped by a time payment plan may discuss arrangements with the director.

Application & Admission

Interested students should send in the application form on the next page as soon as possible. Upon receipt of recommendation from teacher and a performance recording or audition, a notification of acceptance will be sent if selected. Performance recordings are required for all applicants. The performance tape should include two contrasting pieces, approximately 10 minutes or less in length, which best demonstrates the applicant's current musical abilities. The applicant should also state on the recording their name, the pieces they will perform, and the name of the composer.
